Characters are overdrawn at times in order to strengthen a contrast between them or to better convey emotions. Sensei brought simplicity on a whole different level. how should I put this? she made amazingly good story based on simple threads.
Main characters are complete opposites - it sounds like a cliche, moreover there's more clished threads, like a student-teacher relationship and such, it could be a complete failure in someone else's hands but. There's not much nudity, no dark past or messed up characters but it doesn't matter. I was surprised that she can actually make sth so bright, so light and pure but in the same time deep and meaningful.
I expected sth different knowing some other works of Nakamura sensei. The story telling, slow but somehow just right pace, pairing, the tension between lovers, the odds they went through, awesome art, the background, complex plot and all the characters, everything is just amazing and makes you love the story. The whole series is one of the best yaoi stories, by all means.
